CIS follows a two-semester academic calendar aligned with the Canadian curriculum. The year opens in September and runs to June, with report cards issued at the close of each of the four terms.
Semester 1 begins. Open House for parents & students: 17 Sep.
Term 1 examinations: 18–22 Oct 2026.
School closed for the autumn holiday.
Term 2 examinations: 13–17 Dec. Last day of Semester 1: Thu 17 Dec.
Classes resume Sunday, 10 Jan 2027.
Semester 2 begins 10 Jan. Term 3 examinations: 21–25 Feb.
School resumes Sunday, 14 Mar 2027.
